About Our Program

At Coastal Lacrosse Academy (CLA), we are committed to developing well-rounded young men — both as athletes and as individuals. Our program delivers the region’s top-tier coaching and training, helping players build confidence, sharpen skills, and compete at the highest levels.

Led by Director and Co-Founder Tom Incontrera, CLA benefits from decades of experience in high school, college, and club coaching. Tom’s deep love for lacrosse and passion for mentoring young athletes fuel our program’s mission: to build strong players and even stronger character.

We hold our players to high standards on and off the field. At CLA, integrity, accountability, and effort are just as important as goals and ground balls. Whether our athletes continue to play in college or pursue other paths, they leave our program prepared for what comes next — as leaders, teammates, and men of character.

Our rosters feature top talent from across the Eastern Shore, including players from Sts. Peter & Paul, Cape Henlopen, Stephen Decatur, Caesar Rodney, Parkside, Smyrna, James M. Bennett, and more. They are coached by former collegiate athletes who remain dedicated to growing the sport and mentoring the next generation.

Player Commitment

Joining CLA means committing to one year of hard work, high standards, and full participation. We expect every player to bring focus, respect, and a team-first attitude to every practice and game.

By committing to CLA, you’re not just joining a team — you’re becoming part of a community that values growth, sportsmanship, and a shared passion for the game. We ask our players to attend all scheduled practices and games in their entirety, and to give their best effort every step of the way.

Program Fees:

The Coastal Lacrosse Academy tuition covers tournament fees, coaching staff, field usage, winter training/skill sessions, and a yearly shooting shirt. New members of Coastal will have to pay an additional uniform package fee. The package includes the reversible jersey, game shorts, shooter shirt, and Coastal Lacrosse Under Amour backpack. An initial deposit is due Tuition immediately after tryouts in order to secure the player's spot on the team.

Please Note: Joining Coastal Lacrosse Academy is a one-year commitment. Deposits are non-refundable for all players, and individuals registering to play for Coastal Lacrosse Academy must keep their account in good standing throughout the season. Should an individual player request to voluntarily withdraw from their team at any point during the season, the player will forfeit all monies paid, and no credits or refunds will be provided. Coastal Lacrosse will not be responsible for any ancillary or related expenses incurred by any individual, family, club, or organization if the player wishes to withdraw.
